Inside the Courts
A Program Presented by the Judges

Due to the recent tragic events, the "Inside the Courts" program will be re-scheduled to a later date.

Go Inside the Courts

A free four-week class that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the court system will be offered once again. The program, in addition to providing the public with an up-close examination of the workings of the judicial branch of government, addresses some of the more frequently asked questions, such as:

"What do Judges consider when imposing sentences?"

"How do Judges decide child custody disputes?"

"What happens to juveniles who break the law?"

"Are all individuals who are charged with a crime eligible for bail?"

The program is taught by a team of more than one dozen Judges. Participants will gain a greater understanding of the court system and the importance of the judicial process. Participants who complete this four-part program will receive certificates recognizing that achievement.

Inside the Courts will be held in the Jury Assembly Room on the first floor of the Orange County Courthouse, 425 North Orange Avenue, in downtown Orlando. There is NO CHARGE to attend this program.

The program is held on four consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The dates for the next session of Inside the Courts are:
