The Court Travels To College

UCF’s Health and Public Affairs Building

On Thursday, September 7, 2000 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a panel of judges will hold a "Judicial Town Hall" on the University of Central Florida Campus. The Town Hall will be held in Room 119 in the Health and Public Affairs Building on the University of Central Florida Orlando campus.

Circuit Judge Walter Komanski, a graduate of the University of Central Florida, will serve as the moderator for the Judicial Town Hall. The panel of distinguished Judges will include: Fifth District Court of Appeal Judge Jacqueline Griffin, Circuit Judge Dorothy Russell, Circuit Judge Bob Wattles, Circuit Judge Alice Blackwell White and Orange County Judge Jerry L. Brewer. The panel will do their best to answer as many questions as possible during the two hour event.

Judicial Town Hall meetings offer the public a chance to understand the court system and makes the judiciary more accessible to the people of the community.
