Ruth Matthews: Certified County Mediator. Former U.S. Diplomat and retired as the Consul General of Foreign Service. In 1961 she married a foreign service officer and was forced to resign her position. In 1972 there was a class action suit filed by a women’s liberation group on another case and she got her job back. Taught high school and was an adjunct professor at Valencia Community College. She is tri-lingual (Spanish and Portuguese).
Robert (Bob) Meyer: Certified and one of the veterans of Orange County Mediation. He is a product of Brooklyn and City colleges. Served in the infantry for 3 years and received several commendations. Started his business career as a union shop steward in a scientific supply firm. Most of his career has been in insurance including branch offices handling all aspects of the insurance business. Pioneered self insurance programs in Southeast United States.
